RICKY MEARS is no stranger to the stage, but 2016 is slated to be his year in the spotlight. The DJ/Producer/Vocalist triple threat has amassed quite an impressive resume in his relatively short career in Electronic Music. RICKY MEARS extracts influences from musicians including Brand New, Bassnectar and Skrillex, and seamlessly combines them with the island influences of his childhood in Haiti; the results are breathtaking. RICKY MEARS’ recent remix for Skip Marley went viral, gaining over 735,000 plays on Soundcloud, bringing his total play count well over 2 million. Ricky and Skip followed up with another collaboration, an Official Remix of Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” that has garnered over 1 million plays and was picked up by Sandals Resorts for their most recent worldwide campaign ad. RICKY MEARS has collaborated on projects with a ton of other A-List artists including DJ Mustard, Beyoncé, Ty Dolla Sign, I Love Makonnen, and Seven Lions. Most recently, RICKY MEARS was the Grand Prize Winner for Beatport and Dim Mak’s Bloody Beetroots’ (SBCR) remix contest; this remix proved RICKY MEARS’ versatility, and ability to put his golden touch on any style of music.  In 2016, RICKY MEARS released his debut “Deliverance” EP via the Artist Intelligence Agency (AIA). He has received support from many tastemakers in the electronic community including, Mr. Suicide Sheep,  Dim Mak,  Adventure Club, Seven Lions and Above and Beyond.
